Emotional Logic - An introduction

This introduction will teach staff some of the basic principles of Emotional Logic and how, with further training, they can apply this method in an educational setting. Through practical skills training, background theory, conversational practise and discussion, participants will begin to make an initial and constructive response to emotional turmoil and adjustment to change.

Supporting Attention, Hyperactivity and Impulsivity needs

Attentional, impulsivity, and hyperactivity needs (including ADHD) can result in a ‘vicious cycle’ whereby pupils experiencing them not only miss academic content but are also reprimanded and corrected far more than their peers. Over time, this creates a learning and behaviour gap between these individuals that negatively impacts how they are viewed by other pupils, parents, staff, and themselves.
