Teaching Assistant (SEN Mainstream Plus Classroom)

Salary/Grade: Grade 1 £24,413 FTE (£12.65 per hour) Full time (Term Time 38 weeks)

Work Schedule: Mon - Fri 08:30 - 15:15, term time only (31.25 hrs per week)

Contract: Fixed term, initially for one year

Start Date: January 2026

We are seeking a Teaching Assistant to join us from January 2026. You will be working in a small SEN Classroom of Reception and KS1 pupils, with support from your team colleagues. We are looking for someone with a flexible and friendly attitude who can communicate effectively with children and adults. Previous experience of working with SEN children and an understanding of neurodivergence and social communication needs will be valuable but we are very happy to support the right person to develop through training and mentoring.
