Job Description
The successful candidates will be required to supervise classes/groups of students undertaking pre-prepared work in the absence of teaching staff. You will also manage student behaviour, assist teachers in lesson delivery & contribute to the overall ethos, aims & work of the school. If you are required for cover you will either be contacted by 8.00am on the day or the previous day.
You will be paid on a fixed hourly rate of £22. For every hour you are covering a lesson we will pay an additional 10% of your time to ensure that you have time to prepare in order to deliver lessons effectively, thus a 1-hour lesson will be paid for 1 hour and 6 minutes. We endeavour wherever possible to offer blocks of time. A full day rate, including morning registration, will be £126.50.
You will be required to undertake an enhanced check by the Disclosure & Barring Service & provide 2 referees. One referee should be your present or last employer.
