Job Description
Discovery Multi Academy Trust – Initially to be worked at Central Office however, under the terms of the contract you may be deployed to work at any of the locations that form the Discovery Multi Academy Trust.
Grade D Point 8 £26,824 FTE. Actual pro rata salary £24,250 37 hours per week, 41 weeks per annum.
Are you an organised, proactive administrator who thrives in a busy school environment? Discovery Multi Academy Trust is seeking a highly motivated Central Administrator to join our friendly team. About the role: You’ll play a vital role in our Multi Academy Trust, supporting a range of administrative, financial, HR, and organisational processes. No two days are the same – you’ll be using your initiative to solve problems, support our staff, and help shape our support services, policies, and procedures.
Your main responsibilities will include:
- Overseeing key administrative, personnel, and financial tasks throughout the academic year
- Supporting GDPR compliance and maintaining accurate records and archives
- Supporting in recruitment, DBS, payroll forms, and staff training records
- Processing orders, recording income, and supporting audits
- Providing reception cover and preparing reports and meeting minutes What we’re looking for:
- NVQ Level Two in Administration or equivalent
- Experience with administrative and IT systems, and an understanding of school or MAT processes
- Ability to work methodically, confidentially, and to strict deadlines
- Excellent communication and customer care skills
- A proactive, problem-solving approach and willingness to learn
