Year 3 Class Teacher – Maternity Cover

Start Date – 20th April 2026

The Headteacher of Compton CofE Primary School is seeking to appoint a Year 3 class teacher for our high achieving school for maternity cover.

Compton CofE is a two-form entry school with 430 children on role. Weare popular, always oversubscribed and well respected within the City ofPlymouth. We are looking for a practitioner familiar with Year 3. Applicationsare encouraged from teachers of all experiences, including ECTs.

We are looking for a passionate, enthusiastic and talented individual who will enrich the lives of the children they teach. Someone who will work effectively in strong teams, has high aspirations and someone who is committed to LEARN, ACHIEVE and FLOURISH themselves.

Visits to the school are welcome. There will be an opportunity to meet the Headteacher and Team Lead on Thursday 22nd January at 4pm.
