Teaching Assistant
Job Description
Salary: £16,354 (FTE £25,583)
Contract: Permanent, Hours: 27.5 hours
Start Date: As soon as possible
We are seeking to appoint a dedicated, experienced, and enthusiastic teaching assistant to provide general classroom support as part of our happy, committed team.
The successful candidate will have experience working in primary school settings and the required qualifications, together with excellent communication skills and an ability to support all children’s learning.
The successful candidate will:
- Have experience of working with primary-aged children, including in EYFS
- Be flexible and confident supporting children on a 1:1 basis
- Show enthusiasm for helping children develop their communication and language skills
- Demonstrate a nurturing and supportive attitude
- Be a strong team player with a collaborative approach to working with colleagues
- Have a good understanding of safeguarding and inclusive practice
- Be willing to carry out some MTA duties
