Hours: Full Time 37 hours x 39 weeks (Term Time) consideration will be given to applicants wishing to work part-time
Salary: £26,131-£29,069 Actual salary: £22,378-£24,894

Plymouth Learning Partnership (PLP) CIC is a community interest company owned by its cross-phase member schools that provides school services across Plymouth & surrounding districts. The Multi-Agency Support Team (MAST) forms a key component of PLP services to schools for vulnerable children & families.
We are looking for someone in this post who is passionate & committed to making a difference in the lives of children & their families, particularly where there is vulnerability & complexity.
You will be working predominantly with families of primary aged children & alongside colleagues from a multidisciplinary team. We are a collaborative team committed to sharing professional practice, offering regular supervision, & supporting your professional development.
This position involves providing a dynamic, child-centred support role for parents/carers & families. The post will include:
- The skill to be able to see a child/young person/family perspective & have creative thoughts to improve the quality of their lives & experiences
- Working closely with other members of the team including psychologists, therapists, counsellors, other family workers & mentors to improve outcomes for children & young people
- Wider multi-agency working to support children & families
- The opportunity to be linked to individual school settings, at child, family, & school levels to bring effective change for children & young people
- Opportunities to work with the wider team & to develop career progression as an educational psychologist, therapist or specialised family support worker
