Nursery Manager
Job Description
Hours: 35 hours per week, Permanent, Term Time (39 weeks per year)
Salary: Connect Grade E point 9, actual salary £23,670 (£29,093 FTE)
Start Date: September 2025
We are seeking to appoint a dedicated and enthusiastic Nursery Manager to start in September 2025.The candidate will have overall responsibility for the safe, successful and effective running of the school nursery which is for 3-4 year olds.
The successful candidate will
- Have knowledge and experience of providing a stimulating education experience for nursery aged children.
- Have a Level 3 qualification in Early Years Education.
Key responsibilities will include:
- To take overall responsibility for planning and implementing the daily programme of activities ensuring that tasks are of high quality in both the indoor and outdoor setting.
- Actively intervene in children’s play to challenge, extend and support their learning.
- To lead and manage staff on a daily basis within the setting.
- Report to the EYFS Lead as the line manager for the phase.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with parents and carers.
