Job Description

Term time, 5 hrs per week. 12 – 1:00pm daily.

Actual annual salary £2914

We are looking to appoint a permanent Meal Time Assistant to join our happy team starting as soon as possible.

Duties will include;

Assisting young children in handling knives and forks and if necessary cutting up their food.
Encouraging the child to eat the meal provided and encouraging them to avoid waste.
Supervising the orderly return of dishes.
Supervising and assisting children on the playground.
Encouraging active play.• Attending to minor accidents.
Supporting the Mealtime Assistant team by demonstrating flexibility and co-operation.
Assisting the Headteacher as required in order to care for the safety and well-being of the children.
