Job Description

Relational Support Assistant

Start Date: Required as soon as possible - temporary until 31st August 2024 (with the possibility of permanent thereafter)

Contract: 35 per week x 40 weeks per annum

Salary: NJC Grade D – range points 8 - 14 (starting salary: £20,609)

We are looking for the right colleague to join our large specialist team to oversee the operational aspect of the pastoral hub. This is an exciting time to join the pastoral team at Tor Bridge, with a new pastoral hub being built for September 2024 this role would suit someone who wants to be part of leading and developing an outstanding provision to support young people to make positive choices. You will work with staff and students across our school to promote positive behaviours and support individuals who may be disengaged and need to reset before re-joining lessons. You will motivate and break down barriers in order to enable young people to succeed. This is an exciting role that will appeal to flexible, caring and committed professionals who enjoy building strong relationships and making a difference to young people’s lives.

Experience of working in a school environment would be an advantage; however, training will be available.
